| “Totalny diktant” | The Totalny Diktant is a sort of a flash mob that is held throughout Russia and in more than 45 countries around the world every year: people who do not know each other get together on the same day to write a dictation. The aim of the Totalny Diktant is to make people think of how literate they are, and to cultivate the desire to improve their literacy. Everyone who can write in Russian can participate.
